The coast of Maine offers an endless number of peninsulas jutting into the ocean with beautiful views of the water, rocky shoreline, and forests of evergreen trees. Acadia National Park may offer the best and most dramatic views. The Ship Harbor Nature Trail offers a quiet, easy hike to sample the coastline.
