Located in Rockport, on the tip on Cape Ann, Halibut Point State Park provides beautiful views of the former granite quarry and the open ocean. Trails lead around the quarry and to the ocean. The visitor center is located in the restored World War II fire-control tower. From the top of the tower you can see the coast of Massachusetts, New Hampshire, and even the southern part of Maine.
