The doctor and nurse practitioner at the Mass General Pediatric Gastroenterology office advised my parents to add a little rice cereal to my formula to help with my acid reflux. Since I've been on rice cereal I've started beefing up and gained over a pound in one week! Mommy took some picture of me to showcase my physique....dude, I'm huge!
Saturday was my first Halloween. You get to dress up in funny costumes and eat candy. It's lot of fun. My Grammy bought me and my cousin Owen matching monkey costumes. She had planned to see us that night at Aunt Amy's house, but she got called into work. So, instead we got dressed up in the afternoon and visited her in our costumes. I think we made her very happy.
In the evening we handed out candy to kids trick or treating. We saw a pirate, a bird, a bunny, a football player, and even a UPS delivery man. I can't wait until I am older and get to go trick or treating.
Later, we went over to Aunt Amy's house and visited with the rest of my family. My Grampy was there with Susie dressed as vampires. My cousin Max and Patrick were also there and were dressed as Bob the Builder and a Pirates of the Caribbean skeleton. Mommy and Daddy didn't dress up, they're no fun.

On Sunday afternoon my Mommy and Daddy took me to Smolak Farms in North Andover with my Nanie and Bumpa. They grow lots of crops including pumpkins and offer family activities, like hayrides, a petting zoo, and even a band playing kid's music. We drove north from our house through North Andover. The foliage was beautiful as we made our way through the historic center of the town. As soon as we arrived at the farm, Nanie and Bumpa were surprised at how big it was. We started off visiting the store selling homemade cider donuts, apple cider, and all kinds of pies. They also had a lot of crafts, so of course Mommy had to look through everything.

I had an exciting weekend. My Nanie and Bumpa came down from Maine to visit with me. It has been a month since I last saw them. I don’t think Nanie could wait any longer without seeing me. They got here on Friday afternoon and spent the whole evening visiting with me. I started getting a little testy after dinner, so Nanie held me and soothed me. I liked having my Nanie hold me. Bumpa got to hold me too, but as soon as he had me in his arms the pizza my parents ordered for dinner arrived. So I got to sit in my rocker and fell asleep.
I spent the afternoon watching football with my Daddy. I wore my lucky Patriots outfit. It was an exciting game, the Patriots won 59 to nothing. There was so much to cheer about I got all tired out and took a nap after the game.
My Dad took Columbus Day off from work and we spent the day together with Mommy. It was a nice sunny day so we went for a ride up the North Shore. We started off at Appleton Farms in Ipswich, a historic farm with walking trails throughout. We got to see cows. This was the first time we used the Baby Bjorn. I liked it and it was easy for my Daddy to carry me. I liked leaning against his chest while we walked around the farm.
On Friday my Mommy took me to the mall for the first time. I think shopping is so overrated. We went through a bunch of stores and my Mommy looked at all kinds of stupid stuff. I just slept. I couldn't wait until the weekend when I could watch with my Dad.
I like to think that I look good in just about any color, but salmon? That just isn't my color. My Mommy got some second hand clothes from her boss, which is really nice. Unfortunately, she has a baby girl. I consider myself a modern man, but I'm not sure that I should be wearing salmon colored PJs. Although, I have to admit they sure are comfortable. And I have to say, I even look cute in salmon colored pajamas.
